Good evening, I followed the instructions you gave us concerning funding my Google Ads account in Naira and funded my account with #50,000 last month (April 2024) however I paused the ads with a balance of #39,995.53 remaining in the account.
I have set up several ad campaigns and ad groups this month (May 2024) but none of them are running even though they are eligible to run, I keep getting feedback like account budget but I still have #39,995.53 unused in the Google Ads account.
What can I do to resolve this sir?
Kindly find attached the screenshot the concerned Google Ads account.
Follow the steps below to solve the problem:
1. Login to your adpay account and select the ad account.
2. Click on the "cancel" icon in front of the account budget in the right side, just beside the pen icon.
3. Cancel the budget and your funds will be refunded to your adpay wallet.
4. Create a new budget for the account and set the end date to about 5 months.
With this your ads shoube be good to go.
NOTICE!
If you already used Google ads coupon in the account, you might see deduction in your balance when you cancel the account budget. So, in that case, you might not cancel the budget but rather click the edit budget and add more money and extend the end period.
@ojasweb Good day Sir, thank you for your swift response. I checked and the place where I can edit the budget is not clickable, Google Ads coupon has been activated on the account, so the notice part of the instruction is fully activated.
I guess the only way forward for me is to create another budget as Google recommends it.
I have 2 questions now sir 1. If I fund the account with another #50,000 will the new expiration time frame, I selected for the budget affect the balance on the account? 2.
And will the old budget work when I start rerunning ads? (this after I have funded the new budget).

The instruction is for you to do it in adpay account and not on Google ads itself.

Your instructions were carefully carried out on AdPay not on Google Ads, the problem here is that there is no "cancel" button on this AdPay account. As a result, I can't go past the instruction 1.
NB: The AdPay account was created this year in case this is a factor.
It is not possible to cancel budget that has ended. In this case you need to contact ad pay team so that they can refund your balanced to the wallet, and then you will create a new budget.
